Michael Carpenter, PhD, has built a distinguished career dedicated to drug, violence, suicide, and bullying prevention, with experience spanning more than four decades. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Zoology, a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology, and a Doctorate in Counseling and Administration. His work has touched every level of education- elementary, middle, high school, and university- across both public and private settings. As a Student Assistance Program consultant, Dr. Carpenter has shared his expertise nationally and internationally. including New Zealand, Japan, and Belize. Today, he continues this mission of healing and resilience as a practicing EMDR therapist, helping individuals overcome trauma and build healthier lives.

Stacy Benton brings over 32 years of experience in public school education, serving in diverse roles including Middle School Science Teacher, Administrator, District Student Assistance Coordinator and a RESA Drug Prevention Coordinator. She holds a Master’s degree and a Specialist degree in Middle School Education along with an Educational Leadership Certificate. Throughout her career, she has dedicated herself to advancing student learning, promoting well-being, and leading district-level initiatives in prevention and student success.
